LHS Volleyball Wins Two Matches on First Day of Wyoming 4A East Regional Tournament

Laramie High School (LHS) volleyball went 2-0 on the first day of the Wyoming 4A East Regional tournament on Friday in Sheridan, defeating Natrona County and Campbell County.

In the first match of the day, LHS faced Natrona County and won in three sets (25-20, 25-11, 25-21). Senior Maddy Stucky had a double-double with 29 assists and 10 digs, while sophomore Tessa Dodd and juniors Michon Sailors and Savanna Steiert combined for 29 kills.

In the second match of the day, LHS faced Campbell County and won in four sets (27-29, 25-23, 25-19, 25-21). Stucky had a triple-double with 31 assists, 20 digs, and 10 kills. Senior Anna Sell had a career-high 30 digs, while Dodd had 14 kills, 14 digs, and four aces.

LHS will return to the court on Saturday at 4 p.m. in the East Region championship game. The Wyoming Volleyball State Championships begin next weekend in Gillette.
